Autism Society of Greater Wisconsin Welcomes Two New Autism Friendly Community Partners!

The Autism Society of Greater Wisconsin and its Central WI chapter recognize The Hodag Dome in Rhinelander, WI and Learning Grove ABA in Rothschild, WI as their newest Autism Friendly Communities partners! The Autism Friendly Communities program aims to increase the quality of life for those affected by Autism by improving community understanding of Autism and improving access to inclusive experiences, programs, and events through community partnerships.

The Hodag Dome is located in Rhinelander, WI and is the largest air-supported high school dome in the nation! It offers 128,000+ square feet of space to be used by students, student athletes, the Rhinelander community, and visitors to our area. The Hodag Dome is committed to inclusive, safe, and welcoming activities and events for all by offering regular sensory-friendly night events, providing visual supports during events, and making sensory accommodations. Folks can expect a fun time for everyone when visiting the Hodag Dome!

Learning Grove ABA is located in Rothschild, WI and is an in-home and center-based ABA service provider. Offering direct services to the child, family guidance training, and school-based consultation, Learning Grove emphasizes child-led learning and play-based services. They are committed to inclusive and affirming practices by offering sensory accommodations, providing individualized supports, and ensuring inclusive hiring practices.
