Clipper Chaos Becomes First Hair Studio Recognized as an Autism Friendly Community Partner

The Autism Society of Greater Wisconsin and its Fox Valley Affiliate recognize Clipper Chaos hair studio in Greenville, WI as an Autism Friendly Communities partner. The Autism Friendly Communities program aims to increase the quality of life for those affected by autism by improving community understanding of autism and improving access to inclusive experiences, programs, and events through community partnerships.

Clipper Chaos is a hair studio located in Greenville, WI that specializes in providing hair care services- haircuts, styles, barbering, straight razor shaves etc. Clipper Chaos is committed to providing a safe and sensory friendly environment for the whole family. The hair studio offers sensory appointment times for haircuts and has sensory items available to their customers. Additionally, they provide visual supports to children and families.

“Getting a haircut can be a challenging for some with autism,” says Diane Nackers, president of the Autism Society of the Fox Valley, “We’re excited to recognize Clipper Chaos as an Autism Friendly partner and thank them for easing the anxiety and stress of the haircut experience by providing sensory, visual, and other supports.”
