Swimming Event at River’s Edge Campground!
Join us for an afternoon of summer fun with the Autism Society of Central Wisconsin! We’re excited to spend the day with you enjoying everything River’s Edge has to offer! This is a family friendly event and is open to all ages!

Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Location: River’s Edge Campground 3266 Campsite Dr, Stevens Point, WI 54482
Activities Include:
- Heated Swimming Pool
- Aqua Fun Park Pond with a Sandy Beach
- Lounge Chairs for Relaxing
- Concession Stand On-Site (limited food and drinks provided by the Autism Society)
- Giant Jumping Pillow
- Playground
- Volleyball Court
- GAGA Ball Pit
Important Details:
- Wristbands are required for all attendees, including non-swimmers. These will be available at the Autism Society check-in table from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and are valid until the park closes at 8:00 PM.
- No outside food or drink (carry-ins) allowed.
- Bring your own towels.
- Please bring your own if possible—some are available at the park, but personal jackets are often more comfortable
Swimming Pond & Beach Rules (Per River’s Edge Guidelines)
🚫 No lifeguard on duty — swim at your own risk
🦺 Life jackets are highly recommended for all swimmers
🐶 No pets allowed on the beach or in the water
👨👩👧👦 Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult
🚯 No throwing sand, rocks, or mud
🧴 No glass containers on the beach or in the water
🌅 No swimming after dark
🗑 Please pick up all trash and do not litter
🔊 Keep music and radios at a low volume
🛑 No vehicles (motorized or electric) on the beach
🪑 Pool chairs are not allowed in the pond
⚡️ The pond will be closed in the event of lightning or thunder
🤝 Be respectful of all guests
⚠️ Do not dig past the black liner in the sand near the water’s edge
🚫 Do not walk through or park on other campsites or cabins near the pond
🌿 The pond is not chlorinated and may contain natural wildlife (bugs, frogs, turtles, etc.)
