The Building for Kids Children’s Museum is hosting a Sensory-Friendly COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic on Monday, March 21 in partnership with the Autism Society of Greater Wisconsin, Wisconsin Early Autism Project and ThedaCare.
Participants can expect a lower sensory environment, sensory fidgets, distraction strategies, private rooms, extended appointment time slots, and other individualized accommodations as needed.
After receiving their vaccine, participants can play in the museum during the observation period. The BFK will provide a pizza dinner. Every child under 12 who participates will receive a FREE 3-month family membership to the BFK.
