Mark your calendars and make your voice heard! The Autism Society Affiliates in Wisconsin invite you to Autism Acceptance Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM in the Assembly Parlor of the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison.
This annual event kicks off Autism Acceptance Month, bringing together advocates, families, and community members to celebrate and promote understanding, inclusion, and policy action for the Autism community. Attendees will hear brief remarks from legislators and advocates, including Senator Andre Jacque, and witness the presentation of an official Autism Acceptance proclamation.
Autism Acceptance Day is open to the public, and we encourage individuals and families to attend to show support and engage with lawmakers. Your presence helps amplify the voices of autistic individuals and their families across Wisconsin.
