MillCity Church Recognized as Autism Friendly Communities Partner

The Autism Society of Greater Wisconsin and its Fox Valley Affiliate recognize MillCity Church in Neenah, WI as an Autism Friendly Communities partner. The Autism Friendly Communities program aims to increase the quality of life for those affected by autism by improving community understanding of autism and improving access to inclusive experiences, programs, and events through community partnerships.

MillCity Church opened in 2015 and aims to offer a place where every guest feels welcomed, valued, and encouraged. They offer Without Limits, an inclusion ministry for children with disabilities. A team of coaches, trained by the Autism Society of the Fox Valley, partners with families to ensure that each child’s experience is fun and engaging. Visual, communication, and sensory supports are available through the program.

“Having the opportunity to practice one’s faith is an important part of quality of life,” says Diane Nackers, president of the Autism Society of the Fox Valley, “We’re excited to recognize MillCity Church for their Without Limits ministry and their work to be a welcoming and supportive faith community.”
